Major General Khaled Mazen discusses with Turkish Interior Ministry delegation issues of common security concern.

Tripoli, 15 May 2022 (Lana) GNA Interior Minister Lieutenant General Khaled Mazen, met Monday in Tripoli with a delegation from the Turkish Interior Ministry to discuss several issues of common security concern.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Passport, Nationality and Foreign Affairs Department, his deputy, the head of the Criminal Investigation Service, the Head of the Civil Status Department, the Director of the General Directorate of Traffic and Licenses, the Head of the Information and Documentation Center, the Director of the Department of Relations and International Cooperation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Security Goods Company, members of the Management Committee of the National Project for Technical Development of the Ministry's institutions and the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, the Minister stressed that this work is a priority of the ministry, which would allow Libya follow the example of developed countries. He highlighted huge links between Libya and Turkey in various fields.
According to the official page of the Ministry of Interior, it was decided to establish a timetable for the visit of the Turkish delegation to the Passport, Nationality and Foreign Affairs Authority, the Civil Status Department, the Criminal Investigation Service and the General Directorate of Security Operations.
