During her meeting with al-Sayeh, Acting US Assistant Secretary of State Yael Lambert: All Libyans deserve free and fair elections to elect their leaders.

   Tripoli, May 13, 2022 (LANA) - America stressed the eligibility of all Libyans to free elections to elect their leaders.

  This came in the words of the Acting US Assistant Secretary of State, Yael Lambert, during her meeting on Thursday in Tunis with the head of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, in the presence of Ambassador Richard Norland, to reaffirm the US commitment to the commission.

      According to a tweet posted on the website of the US Embassy in Libya on Twitter, Lambert reiterated, during her meeting with al-Sayeh, “the commitment of the United States to the commission, and that all Libyans deserve free and fair elections to elect their leaders.”
