The National Oil Corporation is discussing with private local companies the implementation of projects in the oil sector

Tripoli, May 8, 2022 (LANA) - The President of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, met today, Sunday, with representatives of a number of private companies and businessmen to implement a number of projects in the sector.

 The meeting was attended by heads of companies, Zallaf Libya, Nafusa Oil Operations, and Brega Oil Marketing Corporation, affiliated with the Corporation, in addition to the Director General of Oil Industries and the Director of Maintenance and Projects in the Corporation.

The Corporation said that the meeting discussed the opportunities available to private sector companies to contribute to the implementation of part of the projects that the Corporation seeks to implement to increase production capacity.

Mustafa Sanalla stressed that the Corporation seeks to involve national private sector companies and enhance their role by giving them priority to implement important projects in the sector when it possesses technical capacity, quality and competitive prices, stressing the importance of following high safety standards in drilling operations.

Sanalla added that the oil sector is promising, and despite the difficult circumstances it is going through, the Corporation and its companies are determined to implement several projects to increase oil production and support the national economy.
