    Tripoli, 8 May 2022 (Lana) U.N. Secretary-General's Special Adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams discussed here on Sunday with President of the High National Election Commission Imad Al Sayeh, technical and advisory support from the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and the United Nations Development Program in Libya (UNDP) to strengthen its readiness to implement upcoming electoral elections.

 The meeting, which was held at the Commission’s headquarters, was attended by member of the Commission’s Council Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab.

Political situation and holding of elections in the near future were discussed at the meeting, as well as Commission’s readiness to implement those entitlements in the coming period.
