Chief of Staff of Libyan Navy announces rescue of 20 illegal immigrants northwest of Zuwara.

 Tripoli, 7, May 2022 (Lana) The Navy's Chief of Staff announced that the Al Zawiyah Boat, which belongs to the Coast Guard has managed to rescue 20 illegal immigrants northwest of Zuwara. The Navy's Chief of Staff said in a statement that the migrants were on their way to European shores by boat. He confirmed that as soon as a distress call was received, the boat (Al Zawiyah) of the Zawiya refinery point was dispatched to the scene to carry out the rescue and recovery job.

 According to marine staff command, the Anti-Immigration Service will follow up its efforts in its humanitarian role in the process of caring for these migrants and completing their deportation proceedings to their countries safely.
