President of Presidential Council discusses with the elders and dignitaries of Misrata national reconciliation, and ways to overcome of political impasse.

    Misrata, 7 May 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi met Saturday morning elders and dignitaries of Misrata, and social activists in the city, to discuss national reconciliation launched by the Presidential Council, and ways to overcome the current political impasse.

    The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Presidential Council in maintaining the stability of the country, work on unifying state institutions, reaching a solution that will end the Libyan crisis, and ending all stages of transition, through the national reconciliation project that paves the way for peace elections.

The President of the Presidential Council stressed that all regions, cities and villages are part of the national reconciliation project, which the Presidential Council seeks to accomplish, at this phase, to heal the rift and achieve peace, stability and lasting peaceful coexistence in the country.

  For their part, the elders and dignitaries of the city stressed during the meeting, their continued support for the Presidential Council for Stability, through its continuous efforts to calm down, and communicate with all political parties in the country.
