Tripoli, 24 April , 2022 (Lana) Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, visited Sunday the Ministry of Finance, during which he followed up on the work progress of the ministry.

The Prime Minister held an extensive meeting with the designated Minister of Finance, Muhammad Al-Shhoubi, directors of departments and offices and heads of their affiliated entities, during which they reviewed the Ministry of Finance's plan, and identified the difficulties it faces.

The acting Minister of Finance stressed that the departments in the ministry are working continuously in order to provide the best services to all state institutions through which they reach every citizen.

 The Prime Minister stressed the need to prepare the final account of the state, which has not been completed since 2009, expressing his surprise at the neglect of this important file.

The Prime Minister recommended the necessity of paying attention to the financial services monitors in the regions, regulating them and following them up seriously, and the necessity of reviewing their accounts.
