A modern crude oil tanker joins Libya’s fleet.

Tripoli, 23 April 2022 (Lana) The National General Shipping Company (NGSC) has announced that a new and modern crude oil tanker has joined the Libyan marine transport fleet.

In a statement published on its SMS page NGSC said it took possession of tanker "Anwar Tripoli" on Friday evening as part of the second phase of the plan to develop and modernize the company's fleet.

The company explained that the tanker "Anwar Tripoli" was built by Dehan "SHIP BUILDING Co." in South Korea and was made to conform to the highest quality standards and requirements of the coalition of major oil companies "OCIMF" and all international requirements and conditions applicable in the shipping market.

The company pointed out that (Anwar Tripoli) is the fourth carrier to join its fleet in two years of continuous work to modernize, rejuvenate and expand activity the fleet, thereby enhancing the company's role and position in the competative shipping internationally.
