Welcoming the release of many Libyans who were arbitrarily detained; America: No one should be arbitrarily arrested in Libya.

Tripoli, April 15, 2022 (LANA) - The United States, through the Chargé d'Affairs of its embassy in Libya, "Leslie Ordman", welcomed the release of several Libyans who were arbitrarily arrested, stressing the need for no one to be arbitrarily arrested in Libya.

    This came in a comment by the US Embassy in Libya on the release of the former head of the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Company, Faisal Qarqab, the President of the General Student Union, Muhammad Al-Qiblawy, and Mansour Atti, the head of the Libyan Red Crescent Society in Ajdabiya.

The embassy indicated that the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, emphasized that human rights are important in the bilateral relationship between his country and Libya.
