Rome, April 14, 2022 (LANA) - Next May, the Italian Interior Minister, "Luciana Lamorgese," will visit Libya and Tunisia with the European Commissioner, "Ilva Johansson," according to the Italian Nova news agency.

In a briefing before the Italian House of Representatives, Lamorgese said that Libya and Tunisia are today the two main countries from which the migration flows that affect the central Mediterranean route.

She added, "I have agreed with the European Union Commissioner for Internal Affairs Johansson to conduct a joint visit soon, in May, also to implement the measures and financial contribution related to the strategic partnership."
