Dabiba stresses the need to disburse the wife's grant for 2021 and 2022.

 Tripoli, 13 April 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, has issued instructions for disbursing the wife's grant for 2021 and 2022, stressing the need to work in coordination with the Civil Status Department and the General Information Authority in particular.

This came during the visit the Prime Minister made on Tuesday, to the Ministry of Social Affairs to follow up on the work of a number of departments and offices in the ministry and the office of the minister's affairs, stressing the need to speed up the implementation of projects assigned to the ministry, most notably the disbursement of grants to wives and children.

During the visit, Al-Dabiba listened to staff of Ministry of Social Affairs, to get firsthand account of the difficulties they faced, and instructed the Minister to invite the directors of departments and offices to hold an extensive meeting to address the difficulties and problems facing the work of the ministry.

   The Prime Minister stressed the need to continue to pay the children's allowance for the next six months, which has been referred to the Central Bank of Libya, as well as the need to take care of the nursing homes and provide them with the necessary services until the ministry's 2022 plan is published, and make the matter a priority.
