Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity is discussing reopening Vietnamese embassy in Tripoli.

Hanoi, 3 April , 2022 (Lana) - The Director of the Department of Asian and Australian Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Ahmed Al-Naas, met with the Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Hue, Friday, at the ministry's headquarters in Hanoi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated through its account on "Facebook" that Al-Naas delivered a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush"to her counterpart, the Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry added that Al-Naas held another meeting with the Director of the Middle East and Africa Department Boi Hanam and the Director of the Protocol Department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigone Viet Dong, to discuss the reopening of the Vietnamese embassy in Tripoli to make all the necessary arrangements to carry out its work from within the capital, Tripoli, as well as the return of the Vietnamese embassy in Tripoli.
