Libyan Audit Bureau launches its third strategic plan (2022-2026).
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 30 March 2022 (Lana) The Libyan Audit Bureau announced today launching of its third strategic plan (2022-2026) in cooperation with US Agency for International Development (Pragma), and Public Money Management program in Libya.
The announcement of the plan attended by Head of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak , Undersecretary of the Bureau Alaa Al-Maslati , Directors of Departments ,Offices and Branches of the Bureau ,and the supporting bodies ,in a meeting held in Tripoli.
Khaled Shakshak stressed in his remarks the importance of strategic planning for the institutions, pointing that any work did not go according to a clear plan and goals, could not be successful, highlighting that the Bureau launched its first strategic plan from 2014 to 2019 .and the second plan from 2019 to 2022, on the evaluation of the first plan.
Shakshak said that the third strategic plan is with different and renewable tools, through the evaluation we reached our reports under supervision of INTOSAI organization, in which gaps were identified, to guide us to a solid strategic plan.
Alaa Al-Maslati said that the strategic planning is a collective work imposed on everyone, all Bureau employees must participate in it.
Al-Msalati explained that the supervisory work also needed an integrated and inter-connected project aimed at evaluation and reform, indicating that the institutional building in the bureau depended on the supervisory and institutional side evaluation on the international standards basis and work evidence through a complete scheme that leading to our goals.
