Vice President of Presidential Council discusses with the Ambassador of Bangladesh prospects for cooperation between Libya and the Asian country.

    Tripoli, 30 March 2022 (Lana) Vice-president of the Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi on Wednesday, received Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to Libya, member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Shamim Al-Zaman.

Prospects for cooperation in many fields between Libya and Bangladesh, and ways to develop them in the interests of the two friendly countries were discussed during the meeting.

 The Bangladeshi Ambassador said his country was prepared to contribute to reconstruction and development process in Libya, and to support the health sector with medical professionals. They emphasized that previous cooperation agreements between Libya and Bangladesh, including trade and economic agreements, would be activated.
