Vice-President of Presidential Council discusses with Chairman of Libyan Army Standing Committee for Humanitarian Affairs steps taken on detainees, missing persons and unidentified bodies.

Tripoli, 30 March 2022(Lana) Deputy President of Presidential Council Abdullah Al Lafi on Wednesday discussed with Chairman of the Standing Committee for Humanitarian Affairs of the Libyan Army, Hatem Al-Kadiki, steps taken by the committee regarding detainees, missing persons and unidentified bodies in the eastern and western regions in coordination with local and international relevant authorities.

 The Chairman of the Committee reviewed the positive steps it had made, which directly contributed to the resolution of this humanitarian file.

 For his part, MP Abdullah Al-Lafi praised committee’s effort in implementation of international humanitarian law, which is enforced all over the world, stressing the support of the Presidential Council for the work of the committee, to perform the tasks assigned to it.
