Tripoli, March 29, 2022 (LANA) - The Public Prosecutor, "Al-Siddiq Al-Sour" said that his office is working on implementing his strategy aimed at developing the work of the Public Prosecution Authority.

This came during a meeting held by "Al-Sour" yesterday, Monday, with the Attorney General in the Five Appeals Department, the Head of the Tarhuna Primary Prosecution and the directors and members of the District Prosecutions in the jurisdiction of the Tarhuna Court of First Instance to discuss the obstacles that limited the effectiveness of the judicial work in the Public Prosecution Service, including the low level of performance Judicial officers and the lack of commitment on their part regarding the implementation of some orders.

During the meeting, the Attorney General added that an appropriate preparation for the work environment had been accomplished in the prosecution offices of the five Court of Appeals, and the necessary capabilities had been provided to facilitate work, according to what was published by the official page of the Office of the Attorney General via the “Facebook” website.

He stressed that his office, with governmental support, began providing the electronic equipment necessary to launch and digitize the model of automating the work of the authority. As well as the establishment of the Criminal Research and Training Center in the Office of the Public Prosecutor; To contribute to training aimed at enhancing the technical and operational capacity of the judicial and functional frameworks.

Al-Sour said that the mandate's obligations necessitate that they work to consolidate the value of the rule of law; and taking the necessary measures to enforce compliance with that value, most notably following up on the work of law enforcement agencies under the supervision of the Public Prosecution; And record observations related to it in the blogs of the monthly inspection reports.

Within the framework of the involvement of the members of the Public Prosecution Office in diagnosing the obstacles that limit the effectiveness of work; contributing to the development of appropriate solutions to it; And support the decision within the prosecution.
