With a wide Libyan participation: The Committee of Experts on the Missing Persons file concludes its meetings in The Hague.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, March 26, 2022 (LANA) - A delegation from the General Authority for Searching and Identifying Missing Persons participated in the conclusion of the meetings of the Committee of Experts on the file of the missing at the headquarters of the International Organization for Missing Persons (ICMP) in The Hague in the Netherlands.
Representatives of the Interior Ministry, headed by the head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Major General "Mahmoud Ashour", and representatives of the Judicial Expertise and Research Center, headed by "Anwar al-Arabi", director of the Forensic Medicine Department at the center affiliated with the Ministry of Justice, also participated in the meetings.
Head of the Commission, Kamal Al-Siwi, presented the shield of the General Commission for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons to the President of the International Organization for Missing Persons, "Catherine Bomberch," in recognition of what this organization had provided in previous years with regard to aspects of training and raising the efficiency of the Commission's staff.
The head of the authority also agreed with the president of the organization to strengthen cooperation frameworks between the two institutions in the future, according to what was published by the official page of the authority.
