Activating memorandum of cooperation between Libya and Sudan in the field of strategic planning and exchange of experiences.

Tripoli, 23 March 2022 (Lana) Chairman of the National Planning Council Muftah Al Harir discussed with Sudanese Minister Plenipotentiary and the Charge d'Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy Osman Al-Bashir "activating the memorandum of cooperation between the two countries in the field of strategic planning, and exchange of experiences.
The meeting addressed the need for the two countries to develop food security strategies and policies, particularly cereal and fodder production, in order to address the changes on the international level and their negative effects on world food.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to open the way for joint seminars and workshops in the two brotherly countries, according to the National Planning Council, on its official Facebook page. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to develop a joint action plan and invite the relevant parties to identify possible investments and flow of goods and services in the interests of the two brotherly countries.
