The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government discusses the plan to develop the National Oil Corporation.

Tripoli, March 22, 2022 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, held a meeting today, Tuesday, with the Central Governor of Libya, the Ministers of Finance, Planning, and the State for Cabinet Affairs, in the presence of the Governor’s Adviser, and the Director of the Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the meeting was devoted to following up on the development plan of the National Oil Corporation for the year 2022, which aims to increase daily production, in addition to identifying the existing obligations of the Corporation during the past years.
In his speech, Al-Dabaiba stressed the importance of supporting the National Oil Corporation by adopting the annual discretionary plan and providing the necessary financial resources for it.
For his part, the Central Governor of Libya confirmed that interest in Libyan oil production has become an urgent necessity, expressing the bank's readiness to provide all necessary facilities to support the National Oil Corporation.
