President of Presidential Council discusses with representatives of municipalities political situation in Libya.

 Tripoli, 22 March, 2022 (Lana) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi met, Tuesday, representatives of municipalities, wise men, notables, civil society organizations and families of martyrs and wounded in the western region, to discuss the latest developments of the political situation in Libya.

    During the meeting, which was held in the office of the Presidential Council, they discussed the latest developments of the political situation, and the steps taken by the movement of municipalities, which rejects the extension and supports the parliamentary and presidential elections, according to a constitutional rule agreed upon by all.

   Al-Manfi affirmed the impartiality of the Presidential Council and its dealings with all political parties, and its standing at the same distance from everyone, explaining that the Council represents all regions and represents the unity of the Libyan soil.

   For its part, the delegation affirmed during this meeting its continued support for the efforts of the Presidential Council, which aims to achieve peace and stability through the High National Commission for National Reconciliation.
