Saudi Ambassador to Libya Confirms Support for UN Efforts to Reach Elections in Libya.

 Tripoli, 21 March 2022 (Lana) UN Secretary-General's Advisor on Libya Stephanie Williams quoted the Saudi Ambassador to Libya as confirming support for the UN-facilitated joint committee between the Lower and Upper Houses of Parliament to complete a consensual constitutional basis for elections.

Williams said in a tweet that she and Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Libya, discussed the importance of ensuring that all international efforts on Libya are coordinated and unified.
