The Cabinet requests disbursement of the children allowance and wives grant before Month of Ramadan.

 Tripoli, 20 March 2022 (Lana) The Council of Ministers has demanded that the Ministry of Social Affairs disburse the wife's grant and the children's allowance before the Month of Ramadan.

This came during the fourth regular meeting held by the Cabinet which was devoted to discussing a number of topics and service files, and taking decisions and measures on them.

 The Council of Ministers directed the Municipal Guard to monitor prices, control violators and take legal action against them.

In environmental matters, the Cabinet granted permission to the Ministry of Environment to study the possibility of establishing an environmental protection fund and agreed to amend the national plan to combat oil spills as a result of oil and other operations that had had negative effects on the marine environment.

 During the meeting, the Cabinet also granted permission to contract a number of international and local companies, to implement the short plan project to address locally-based urban conditions in order to reduce the exacerbation of un-organized urban growth.
