Tripoli, March 20, 2022 (LANA) - The Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity decided to grant a reward to the Ministry of Oil and Gas, after it had detected financial abuses and violations that would have deprived the state treasury of an amount of (10.9) billion dinars.

This came during the fourth regular meeting held by the Council of Ministers, which was devoted to discussing a number of issues and service files, during which a number of measures, decisions and measures were taken.

The Cabinet said that after the Ministry of Oil and Gas monitored many violations and violations, including financial violations, represented in depriving the treasury, it was approved to give the ministry a reward for its work to recover an amount of 10.9 billion dinars for the state’s public treasury.

On the other hand, the Council of Ministers agreed to adopt the settlement agreement between the Libyan state and the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville regarding the debt owed by the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville in favor of the State of Libya.
