Prime Minister directs Ministry of Economy and Trade and Municipal Guard to regulate goods and monitor prices.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 20 March, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba directed all ministries to provide services and provide the necessary and required facilities for citizens on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan.
Dabaiba stressed during the 4th ordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, held, Sunday, the necessity for the Ministry of Economy and Trade to control goods and their prices, and for the Municipal Guard to work with all its energy in cooperation with the concerned authorities to follow up on prices throughout the country.
The Prime Minister also directed the Ministry of Finance to coordinate with all ministries and bodies to pay salaries, grants and all allowances to a number of segments of society in a timely manner, stressing all ministries to follow plans and solve bottlenecks in front of citizens and get closer to them and listen to their problems permanently and continuously.
Dabaiba stressed that the completion of the parliamentary and presidential elections is a national entitlement that must be accomplished, and it is a dream for all Libyans and has become closer than ever, and that the people’s voice and desire are the strongest
Dabaiba said, “I have directed the formation of an expanded national committee that includes independent personalities from all regions of Libya to lead a national dialogue on the draft elections and the constitutional rule and to collect observations on it before its final drafting and referring it to whoever decides and approves it.” The solution in Libya cannot be bypassed.
