Czech Ambassador expresses support for Williams’s initiative.

    Tunis, 19 March 2022 (Lana) The UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, met in Tunisia on Friday with The Czech Republic's Ambassador to Libya Jan Fitchtal. "Ambassador Fitchtal has expressed support for the UN-facilitated talks between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, to build a consensus on a constitutional rule to allow elections to take place," Williams said in a tweet.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed on the importance of ensuring that all international efforts on Libya are coordinated and constructive, Williams said in her tweet.
