Embassy of Libya in Rome hosts the periodic meeting of the Council of African Ambassadors accredited to the Italian Republic.

Tripoli, March 17, 2022 (LANA) - The Libyan Embassy in Rome hosted today, Thursday, the periodic meeting of the Council of African Ambassadors accredited to the Italian Republic.

The participants in the meeting, which was held in the Libyan Academy Hall of the Libyan Embassy in Rome, stressed the importance of joint African action within Italy and on the European arena.

According to what was published by the official page of the embassy, the participants stressed that the protection of African interests should be within the common interest of this council, especially African interests within the Italian Republic.

He also called on the council members to revive the African Cultural Day and pay attention to the interests of the African community in Italy.

At the conclusion of their meeting, the participants recommended quickly activating the committees within the Council of African Ambassadors in order to implement what is agreed upon between the ambassadors in the Council.
