NCDC records 129 positive Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, 814 recoveries and 7 deaths throughout Libya.

 Tripoli, 16 March 2022 (Lana) The National Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced that 129 positive Coronavirus cases, 814 recoveries and 7 deaths have been recorded across Libya in the last 24 hours.

 According to the daily update of the local epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, and in according with statement No. 665, the National Center for Disease Control received 1,469 samples distributed to 15 scientific laboratories in various Libyan cities. After examining the samples with Real Time PCR technology, the results were as follows:

- Number (1,340) negative samples.

- Number (129) positive samples.

- Percentage of positive cases (8.8%). Number (116) critical cases.

The NCDC Communication Committee explained that the number of recoveries numbered (814) cases and recorded deaths (07), including 05 cases in the western region and 02 cases in the eastern region, and no deaths were recorded in the southern region.

This brings to 500626 the total number of Coronavirus cases in Libya of which 8860 active cases, 485405 recoveries, 6361 deaths.
