Tripoli, March 15, 2022 (LANA) - Head of the Supreme Council of State, "Khaled Al-Mashri", discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya, "Caroline Horndal", the latest local and international political developments.
The two sides also discussed, during a meeting held today at the council's headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the Vice-Presidents of the Council, "Masoud Obaid" and "Omar Bushah", the facilities required for the success of the elections file, in addition to the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
During the meeting, Al-Mashri stressed the need to reach a constitutional basis and agreed electoral laws that would lead to fair elections that meet the aspirations of Libyans and achieve stability.
