GNU Minister of Social Affairs announces disbursement of grants for displaced persons next week.

 Tripoli, 15 March 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of Social Affairs Wafa Al-Kilani, announced Tuesday that the Ministry will begin disbursing grants to the displaced persons of the cities of Benghazi, Derna, Murzuk and other regions, from next week.

Al-Kilani held a meeting in early March with the committee tasked by the Ministry of Social Affairs to disburse the grant allocated by the Head of the Government to the displaced persons and to follow up on the final stages of screening and vetting of lists of displaced persons.

 In an earlier statement to the Libyan News Agency, the Minister of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity stressed the Ministry's keenness to alleviate the suffering of the displaced and enable them to overcome the harsh conditions that forced them to leave their homes and property all over Libya.
