Minister of Housing and Construction discusses with Chairman of Al-Qawalish Council many files in the region.

 Tripoli, 14 March, 2022 (Lana) - Minister of Housing and Reconstruction of the Government of National Unity, "Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi", discussed today, at the Ministry's office, with the Chairman of the Al-Qawalish Steering Council, "Saeed Amer" a number of files related to the region, including the file of compensation and war damages for 2011.

   During the meeting, they discussed suspended projects in the Al-Qawalish area and the possibility of developing new projects, including projects to establish ground and other tanks, and the implementation of some road and utility projects to solve the bottlenecks in the area.

    The Minister assured the Chairman of the Council that the compensation for the Al-Qawalish area is within the Ministry’s plan. The delay in completing the procedures is due to the delay in the process of inventorying the damages in 2015, and that the Ministry will start its procedures as soon as the allocations are released.
