Rome, March 08, 2022 (LANA) - The Special Envoy of the Italian Foreign Minister to Libya, Nicola Orlando, reiterated the respect for Libya's unity, sovereignty and stability, and rejected foreign interference in its affairs.
This came after Orlando's visit to Algeria, and his meeting with a number of Algerian officials, according to the Italian news agency Nova.
Orlando expressed his strong support for the mediation initiative presented by the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, which aims to hold free, transparent and inclusive elections in the country.
