Tripoli, March 08, 2022 (LANA) - The United Nations Development Program and the Canadian Embassy in Libya signed an agreement on Tuesday to support the "People" project, which aims to provide technical and advisory support by allocating a grant to support the Women's Unit at the High National Elections Commission.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad al-Sayeh" and "Marc Andre", the ambassador of the United Nations Development Program in Libya, who signed the agreement on behalf of the program, while the Canadian ambassador to Libya, "Isabelle Savard", signed the agreement on the side of the Canadian government, in addition to the presence of a member of the commission's board.
