Al-Sayeh and the Italian ambassador to Libya are discussing strengthening national efforts to achieve the upcoming elections.

Tripoli, March 07, 2022 (LANA) - Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, and his accompanying delegation, ways to strengthen national efforts to achieve the upcoming elections.
This came during a meeting that was held between them this afternoon at the office of the IHEC in Tripoli to review the latest developments in the Libyan political scene, according to what was published by the High Electoral Commission on its website.
During the meeting, the Italian ambassador affirmed his country's government's support for the choices of the Libyan people, praising the efforts made by the Commission in this difficult stage and its relentless endeavor to implement the will and aspirations of the Libyan people towards peace and stability.
