Al Mnefi and Al Dbaiba participate in the commemoration of World Civil Defence Day.

Tripoli, 7 March 2022 (Lana) President of Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Mnefi, and the Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al-DbAiba attended Monday in Tripoli an event to commemorate the World Civil Defence Day organized by the National Safety Authority in the presence of Interior Minister, Major General Khaled Mazen, the Head of the National Safety Authority, and a number of Interior Ministry officials.

In his speech, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of commemorating this day because of its importance to civil defense and national safety agency members, praising the regulatory tasks of the humanitarian authority in saving lives, assessing damage and responding to disasters and fires.

For his part, the President of the Presidential Council praised the great humanitarian role of the soldiers of the National Safety Authority who respond to the call of the homeland, to save lives and property, appreciating the enormous sacrifices made, in order to maintain the security and safety of society, from the risk of disasters and to work to reduce their tragic effects.

During the ceremony, the President of the Presidential Council and the Head of the Government of National Unity were honored with the granting of the Civil Protection Shield by the National Safety Authority in recognition of their role in supporting the Authority, their active contribution to the national and humanitarian efforts of the authority.
