Bucharest, March 04, 2022 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, expressed her thanks and gratitude for the logistical and humanitarian assistance provided by Romania, and for providing support to facilitate the evacuation of Libyans, cooperation with the Embassy of Libya in Romania, and the establishment of an operations room to facilitate work between them without any discrimination between nationalities.

This came during her meeting today with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Romania, Cornel Ferutza, at the Romanian Foreign Ministry headquarters in the capital, Bucharest, in the presence of members of the Committee for Securing the Return of the Libyan Community in Ukraine, Consul General in Turkey Salah Al-Kaseh, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Saleh Al-Ghoul.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Romanian Foreign Ministry stressed that his country did not request any documents from the Libyans and granted them a free visa when they entered Romania.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries for the benefit of the two peoples, the Ukrainian crisis and how to support the Ukrainian people and government politically and humanitarianly, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
