De Maio: Italy supports UN-facilitated Libyan-led political process.

 Rome, 2 March 2022 (Lana) Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said Wednesday that his country supports a UN-facilitated Libyan-led political process.

 "Italy supports a Political Process led by Libya and facilitated by the United Nations, making it possible to realize the democratic aspirations of the Libyan people, while maintaining a firm electoral perspective," Di Maio was quoted by the Italian news agency Nova as saying during a meeting today with Vatican Secretary for Relations with States Paul Richard Gallagher at the Italian Foreign Ministry.
