Tripoli, 23 February, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba affirmed that his government's mission is to bring the country to democratic elections based on a sound constitution, refusing to deprive the Libyan people of a referendum.

Dabaiba made it clear - during a meeting he held today with a number of candidates for the House of Representatives elections under the slogan "Yes to the elections" - that building Libya on sound constitution in which all segments and components of the Libyan people participate will protect and clarify the rights of the people of the country.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister noted that the Government of National Unity provided all capabilities and financial and security support to the High National Elections Commission, allowing it to hold elections on time.
