Italian Deputy Foreign Minister: One of priorities of Italian diplomacy is to achieve lasting political stability in Libya.

 Tripoli, 23 February 2022 (Lana) Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Marina Cerny said achieving security in Libya and helping it reach lasting political stability is a priority for Italian diplomacy. This came at a meeting Libya's Ambassador to Italy Omar Tarhouni held in the Italian Foreign Ministry in Rome, according to the official page of the Libyan Embassy.

 The meeting focused on following up on the various bilateral cooperation files between the two friendly countries, and discussing the latest developments in the Libyan political file.

Al Tarhouni also discussed the visa issue for Libyan citizens, especially for treatment purposes, to ensure that procedures are facilitated for them within the framework of joint bilateral work based on the strong relations and ties between the two friendly countries.
