GNU refuses to recognize independence of Donetsk and Lugansk.

 Tripoli, 22 February, 2022 (Lana) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced the refusal of the Government of National Unity to recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, stressing its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Ukraine.

The ministry said in a statement, Tuesday, that the Government of National Unity joins the international community in its appeal to Russia to refrain from any military operation against Ukraine, calling for calm and the withdrawal of the Russian military build-up on the Ukrainian borders and the occupied Crimea, according to the statement.

The government renewed its categorical rejection of the illegal presence of Wagner forces in the Ukraine and Libya, calling on Russia to use the language of dialogue and diplomacy as an alternative to the language of war. =Lana=
