Tripoli, 22 February 2022(Lana) UN Secretary General Special Adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams met in Tunis yesterday Isabel Savard, Canada's Ambassador to Libya.
Williams tweeted: "I was pleased to meet Canada’s Ambassador to Libya, Ms. Isabel Savard, yesterday evening in Tunis, and we stressed at the meeting the need to maintain calm in Libya, as well as the degree of consensus between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, bearing in mind that 2.8 million Libyans who have registered to vote, have the right to demand national elections on the basis of constitutional and sound electoral laws.
