 Tripoli, 21 February 2022 (Lana) The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Al Sidiq Al Kabir met on Sunday US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Africa and the Middle East Eric Mayer.

 The Central Bank of Libya ‘CBL’ said on its SMS page that the meeting was held via (video link) with the participation of the U.S. Ambassador and its special envoy to Libya Richard Norland.

The CBL said the governor discussed with U.S. officials the meeting focused on the economic and financial situation in Libya, and public spending for 2022, as well as the positive progress made in the unification of the Central Bank of Libya.
