Signing of Memorandum of Cooperation with Palestine to Enhance Commercial and Industrial Exchange.

15 February 2022 – The Government of National Unity signed a memorandum of cooperation for economic, commercial, and technical cooperation with the State of Palestine.

This came at the conclusion of a meeting held by Ministry of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hawiej, with his Palestinian counterpart, Minister of National Economy, Khaled Al-Osaili.

The signing of memorandum of understanding ,at the headquarters of Prime Minister’s Office in Tripoli ,was attended by the Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dabaiba, his Palestinian counterpart, Mohammed Shatayyeh, and Minister of State for Economic Affairs ,Salama Ghaweil.

The agreement provides for increasing the commercial and industrial exchange, support for import and export movement between the two countries, and coordinating efforts in areas of economic, industrial, and technical studies, and exchanging of experiences.
