In remarks: Pashagha reveals start of his consultations to form his anticipated government.

Tripoli, 14 February 2022(Lana) The prime minister-designate Fathi Pashagha, announced the start of his consultations with various parties and regions, to form his next government pledging to not run for the upcoming presidential elections.

Pashagha said in a remarks broadcasted late last night on his SMS page, that the current consultations to form a government will ensure the effective political participation of all parties.

"we started consultations to form the government with various parties in the House of Representatives, the Council of State, and regions of Libya, with a real national partnership of all Libyans, east, west, and south, while ensuring a standard of ability and competence, and our hands are extended to all, and I have received many congratulatory calls from friendly and brotherly countries, who expressed their support for the government formation", he said.

"We are proceeding with government formation, and it will be presented to the House of Representatives at the set time, and we hope will gain the confidence, and the hand-over process will be according to the proper methods Pashagha said. The Head of Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Dabaiba, is a civilized and respected figure, he rejects wars, and we are convinced that he would rather for peaceful transfer of the power, he added.

He touched on to the last ten years, which, he said, have witnessed displacement, loss of family and loved ones, spread of chaos and corruption and rising voices of hatred, saying that everyone today have realized that we were mistaken in our belief that one of us might cancel the other, or that one of us has the truth, our value is in our diversity and our destiny is one.

He said that charges of treason, expiation build not but rather destroy, and deception and fraud in the name of revolution and legitimacy are all cheap tools used by some to unleash sedition and confliction.

Pashagha concluded by saying, "I appreciate the value of men, and there is no need to worry , the coming is better and we will heal our wounds forever, without injustice or marginalization, and we will live in peace and move towards a prosperous tomorrow."
