The launch of ’plant a tree’ campaign in the Municipality of Al-Maamoura, which aims at afforestation of public spaces, educational institutions and main roads in the municipality.

Tripoli, 13 February 2022 (Lana) A campaign to plant a trees within the municipality of Al Maamoura was launched as part of the initiative of the Prime Minister (planting a tree) aimed at planting one million seedlings throughout Libya.
The campaign involved the youth, sports clubs, associations, voluntary institutions and youth affiliated with national youth organizations.
The campaign, which lasts for several days within the municipality, aims at afforestation of public spaces, educational institutions and major roads in the municipality through the Agency for Voluntary Efforts for Youth and under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth.
The campaign was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Voluntary Efforts for Young People Mohammed Zayed, the Mayor of the Municipality of Al-Maamoura, and the Director General of the Village Hospital of Al-Maamoura.
