General Electricity Company is modernizing 30 kV gas station in Misurata, in Karzaz region.

Misurata, 13 February, 2022 (Lana) The General Electricity Company in the Central Region has started the work of modernizing and developing the 30 kV (injection) gas station of Misurata in the Karzaz region as part of the company’s efforts to develop services and raise the capacity of the public electricity network.

 During this modernization process, a modern Siemens-type 30/11 kV (injection) station will be installed.

The Electricity Company explained that the project aims to raise the efficiency of the electrical network in the station area and its surroundings on the 30 kV and 11 kV networks, and transfer the energy produced from the gas power plant to the load centers through a 30 kV network via ground and air carriers with a capacity of up to 30 Megawatts, .

It will also raise the energy generated from a voltage of 30 kV to a voltage of 220 kV through a transformer of a voltage of 220/30 kV.
