Secretary General of Council of Arab Economic Unity announces return of Libya to membership of the Council.

Cairo, 13 February, 2022 (Lana) - The Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Mohammedy Elni, announced the return of Libya to its membership of the Council, which is one of the first countries to ratify the agreement of the Council of Arab Economic Unity.

In press statements during his meeting with the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hawij, Al-Nani said that the council seeks to include the largest number of Arab countries in its membership, which will enhance its role in the fields of economy and investment in the Arab region in general.
