Tripoli, February 08, 2022 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received today, Tuesday, the credentials of Ambassador “Fawzi Abdel Rahim Bomeriz,” the accredited ambassador of Libya to Sudan.

In a statement carried by the official Sudanese News Agency, Ambassador Bomeriz expressed his keenness to work on strengthening relations and opening prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries.

He also expressed his hope that security, stability and peace would prevail in Sudan, and that an agreement would be reached on a national accord that would bring together the Sudanese brothers, satisfy all parties, and end the political crisis in the country.
