UN Security Council unanimously decides to extend UN support mission in Libya until April 30.
Pulbished on:New York, 1 February 2022 (Lana) The UN Security Council on Monday issued a resolution extending for only three months the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
The resolution was adopted unanimously by its 15 members, by virtue of which the UN Support Mission in Libya continued its work until April 30th.
The resolution stipulated that the Security Council stressed that "the UN Support Mission in Libya should be led by a special envoy following the resignation of the Slovak Jan Kupic.
