Al Mnefi attends launch of ring road completion project and signing of new road contracts.

  Tripoli, 31 January 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al Mnefi attended on Monday the inauguration ceremony of the completion of the third ring road project, which will be executed in four stages, from The Ghout Al-Shaal through the airport road and Salaheddine junction on the second ring road to the seaside near Ma'iteka airport.

 During the launch ceremony of the project, to be executed by a Coalition of Egyptian Companies, several new contracts were signed for the execution of a number of new road projects, the most important of which is the 252 km Ajdabiya-Gallo road, the 360 km Obari-Gat road, four new bridges and a number of roads and bridges at the intersection of the fourth ring and the airport road in Benghazi, and the execution of sewage treatment plants in Sabha and Ajdabiya.

In his speech, the President of the Council highlighted importance of the project and the efforts made by the Government of National Unity, as part of its plan for reconstruction and the ‘Return of Life’ project, which will include a number of projects in different regions, especially since we have not seen projects of this size in so many years, considering that completing them within the specified time period is a strong start in the field of reconstruction and development.

 The President's participation in the event underlined the attention to infrastructure, particularly with regard to road implementation projects across the country, the Presidency Council attaches, according to the Presidential Council's Communication Office.
