(LANA): The Ministry of Youth organizes a dialogue session in Benghazi on “The Role and Empowerment of Local Youth Councils.”

Benghazi, January 30, 2022 (LANA) - Yesterday, Saturday evening, the Ministry of Youth organized a dialogue session in the city of Benghazi on “The Role and Empowerment of Local Youth Councils.”

The director of the Ministry of Youth branch in Benghazi, Ahmed Al-Amrouni, explained that this dialogue session is an explanation for all young people about the importance of local councils, and the need to establish them in the right way according to the articles of the law issued by the Ministry of Youth.

Al-Amrouni confirmed in a statement to the Libyan News Agency that affiliation with local councils is an organizational process, to register the targeted youth from the age of (18 to 35) in the Ministry of Youth system.

The session dealt with many scientific papers on the role of the newly created youth councils, and how to join, vote, and empower them in society.
